Welcome to TheSalaryBenchmark. These Terms govern your use of our website, tools and paid credits. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

01Using the service

TheSalaryBenchmark provides salary benchmarks, distributions and offer analysis derived from real job postings. The information is provided for your general guidance and does not constitute financial, legal, career or employment advice. You are responsible for how you use it.

02Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address, to which we may send account, security and transactional messages.

03Credits, plans & payment

• Access is metered in search credits and plan tiers as shown on the Pricing page. One credit equals one live search.
• Credits expire on the timeline stated for each plan; expired credits are not refundable or restored.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
• Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable once used.

04How our data is sourced

Our salary data is sourced ethically from trusted third-party data providers under their licensed terms. We do not scrape any website ourselves. Figures reflect employer-published job postings as supplied to us; we aggregate and present them, and never fabricate or generate salary numbers. Data may contain gaps or errors from the underlying sources and is provided on an "as is" basis.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to resell, redistribute or scrape our data or service, reverse-engineer the platform, abuse rate limits, or use the service to build a competing dataset or product. Automated bulk access is not permitted without written consent.

06Intellectual property

The platform, its design, charts, aggregations and content are owned by TheSalaryBenchmark or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Your account grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service.

07Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheSalaryBenchmark is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on the data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.

08Privacy

We process your account and usage data to operate the service and send transactional email. We do not sell your personal data.

09Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
